Allied Outcomes are committed to providing our services and support through the Covid-19 pandemic to our much valued participants.

We are still providing face to face services as well as telehealth and phone assistance. Our team have all completed training in hygiene and sanitising procedures. Please see our short video on further information.

We are a group of allied health professionals with specialist knowledge and experience from working together with people with a disability and their families and carers for many years in the state government.
Our Leadership Team has over 100 years’ experience achieving great results with people with a disability and their families and carers.
Our organisation is quality assured under the Queensland Human Services Quality Framework (HSQF).
What is the NDIS

The NDIS is a new way for people with a disability to get support and services to assist them achieve their goals. The funding to pay for these services goes to the participant and they get to choose what service they get and from whom. Our role is to help you understand how you can reach your goals and to provide the service that is matched to you

What we do

The services we provide are speech language pathology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, psychology, behaviour support, social work and supports coordination.

We’re participant focused and we work together as a team providing good value for your funding.

Our accessible office is easy to reach in Eight Mile Plains if you would like to visit us. You can choose the location of your services.


We provide occupational therapy, speech language pathology, physiotherapy and psychology services across the age range/children to older people with a disability or support needs. We will assist you to work with your support network to get the best service unique to you and your circumstances. Between us, we have over 100 years’ experience achieving great results with people with a disability and their families.

Improved Daily Living Skills

Occupational therapists, physiotherapists and speech language pathologists can assist with:

  • Increasing your independence,
  • developing skills for self-care, work or play,
  • improving your mobility,
  • providing support with communication, eating and drinking difficulties.
Improved Relationships

Psychologists, social workers and speech language pathologists can support you whether it’s understanding behaviour and ways of thinking, getting assistance in challenging situations, or improving your ability to communicate.

Support Coordination

Support Coordinators and Specialist Support Coordinators work with you to design and build your supports to meet your goals. They can assist you with negotiating across a range of services and help you to build networks where you are at the centre.

Assistive Technology and Home Modification

Occupational therapists, physiotherapists and speech language pathologists support you in finding the right technology or equipment to help you. We can assist throughout the process, from identifying what you need and helping you to select the best option, to making sure you are able to use your equipment or technology once you have purchased it.

Elizabeth Butler

Operations Manager

Liz qualified as a Speech Therapist and worked in New Zealand and Queensland before moving into the management of clinical services. She brings over forty years’ experience as a therapist and manager working in disability services.

Carolyn Ham

Lead Speech Language Pathologist

Carolyn has over twenty years’ experience working with people who have disability, their families and support networks. Her motivation is achieving outcomes in supporting people to be able to communicate.

Fiona McEwan

Lead Physiotherapist

Fiona has over thirty years’ experience providing services to people of all ages with disability. Her passion is working with people with severe and multiple disabilities, as well as hydrotherapy sessions.

Tom Lahres

Lead Psychologist

Tom has unique expertise in working with people who may have challenging behaviors and require specialist intensive support interventions. Tom has over twenty years’ experience in training carers to provide appropriate behavior management strategies.

Helen Walker

Lead Occupational Therapist

Helen is passionate about working with people with disabilities to help them to feel valued, supported and to achieve their potential. Helen has over twelve years' experience working across all age ranges including early childhood development, complex postural support needs and sensory/emotional regulation.
